SHIPPING INFORMATION AND REMINDERS
1. All Cowhide Western Furniture long-distance orders will be delivered via Common Carrier Freight Line. There is no inside (white glove) delivery option available with a Common Carrier Freight Line. Please be advised that all deliveries via Common Carrier will be Curbside Residential deliveries. The freight will be delivered to a covered location by the driver. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to inspect and note any damage at the time of delivery on the bill of lading/delivery receipt with the driver. Please be aware that the delivery driver will not move the freight inside the home. Please have assistance available if needed upon delivery.
2. Cowhide Western Furniture will forward all tracking and freight line information to the client once the freight is picked up and tracking numbers are issued. A representative of the freight line will be in contact with the customer to set up a delivery appointment/time. Cowhide Western Furniture does not schedule, arrange or guarantee a freight delivery day/time. This is at the sole discretion of the freight line employees.
3. It is the customer’s responsibility to alert the freight lien when the appointment is made regarding any covered bridges, small driveways, dirt/muddy roads or any other obstacle that might make a freight line truck unable to deliver to the home. The freight line can, at times, make arrangements ahead of time to send alternate equipment if they have it available. This is not guaranteed.
4. PLEASE CHECK ALL PACKAGING AND FURNITURE AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. Cowhide Western Furniture is not able to file a damage claim on your behalf without written notation on the driver’s bill of lading/delivery ticket. Cowhide Western Furniture reserves the right to replace and/or repair all damaged merchandise at their discretion. No refunds will be issued due to freight line damage. Replacements or repairs will be made at the expense of CWF IF that damage is noted on the bill of lading/delivery receipt at the time of delivery. At times, the common carrier may need assistance in off-loading products. Please make arrangements to have help if needed.
